Our Board

Our Board of Directors is responsible for setting our overall strategy and direction, ensuring that we comply with all necessary rules and legal obligations and that we use our resources effectively to achieve our aims.

 

All our Directors work for us on a voluntary basis and are members of the Board because of their specialist knowledge and experience.

Wole (Cornelius) Sanwo

Director 

​

 "Passionate about giving back to his community."

Wole is a seasoned finance professional and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), with over three decades of leadership experience within the UK social housing sector.
 

Throughout his career, he has held a range of senior finance roles across some of the sector’s most respected organisations. He spent nearly half of his professional career with two major housing groups, serving as Capital Analyst at Circle 33 and later as Group Financial Controller at Network Housing Group. He subsequently held Head of Finance positions at ARHAG Housing Association, the UK’s leading BAME housing association, and Habinteg Housing Association, one of the country’s foremost providers of housing for disabled people.
 

In March 2022, Wole stepped away from permanent executive positions to focus on Non-Executive Director (NED) and strategic advisory roles. Since then, he has continued to support the social housing sector as an interim finance consultant, undertaking senior assignments with organisations including One YMCA and Hexagon Housing Association. Since October 2024, he has also been serving in an interim consultancy role at Phoenix Community Housing, a leading resident-led housing association based in South East London.
 

His current governance roles include serving as a Board Member at Christian Action Housing Association (CAHA) since September 2024. He also served as Trustee and Treasurer at Paddington Development Trust (PDT) from December 2022 until June 2025.

Outside of his professional career, Wole is deeply committed to community development and diaspora engagement. He has played a significant role in the growth of NSF(UK), one of the UK’s largest Nigerian alumni and diaspora networks, helping to mobilise fundraising and support for educational and community initiatives across Africa.

Wole is also an active member of Igbobi College Yaba Old Boys Association Europe (ICOBA Europe).

Titi Familusi   Director 

​

 "Passionate about the arts and loves music"

After a degree in Literature and a postgraduate in marketing, Titi has many years of experience working as a research analyst across sectors both within the private and public sectors. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Market Research Society. She currently works as a senior research manager with UK's communications regulator (Ofcom). Outside work, she enjoys contributing to the lives of young people and is involved in the mentoring scheme in the city of London. She is also involved in a local scheme feeding and watering the marginalised in society both physically and spiritually. Titi is also passionate about the arts and loves music. Titi is an alumna of St Anne’s School Ibadan Old Girls Association (SASOGA).

Dr. Remi Kayode

Director

 "Passionate about giving back to her community and supporting the younger generation in achieving their potential."

Remi is a skillful professional, an experienced analyst and a trainer with a demonstrated history of working in both the public and private sectors. She is a member of the Energy Institute and the International Institute of Forecasters.
Remi has great interpersonal skills and is very passionate about giving back to her community and supporting the younger generation in achieving their potential. Remi was the first president of her alumni - Government College, Ikorodu Old Student’s Association (GCIOSA-UK), and where she currently serves on the Board of Trustees. She is also involved with the Young Women in IT (YWiIT)- an organisation dedicated to raising the level of young girls’ involvement and attainment in IT and the digital world.

Mr. Akin Coker

Director

A Partner and Head of Private Clients at Buzzacott LLP, Mr Akin Coker is a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor, with over 30 years' experience providing expert tax advice on all
aspects of international tax planning and compliance. 

He made the prestigious private client's 50 Most Influential list in 2021 and in 2023, was recognised as a prominent professional within the UK and offshore private client practitioner sector.


Akin is a lay preacher and undertakes voluntary work as a mentor and counsellor for young people and adults. 

He enjoys squash, football and is an alumna of Igbobi College Yaba Old Boys Association.

Dr. Temi Ladenika

Director

A Senior lecturer with a Doctorate in Education, Dr Temi Ladenika is an educational professional with circa 40 years' experience in educational leadership and engagement. A proprietor and headteacher of a non-association independent school, she is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

 

Dr Temi believes in making a difference to the quality of education and has done extensive work providing staff development opportunities for Nigerian schools.


Temi is a key pioneer alumna of Government College Agege.
