Our Board

Our Board of Directors is responsible for setting our overall strategy and direction, ensuring that we comply with all necessary rules and legal obligations and that we use our resources effectively to achieve our aims. All our Directors work for us on a voluntary basis and are members of the Board because of their specialist knowledge and experience.

Cornelius Oluwole Sanwo - Director 

 "Passionate about giving back to his community."

Wole is a seasoned Accountant and a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA). He has spent most of his entire career (30+ years) within Social Housing in the UK, half with two larger organisations, as a Capital Analyst at Circle 33 and as the Group Financial Controller-Network Housing Group. The rest is spread, in  Head of Finance roles, between the leading BAME Housing Association (ARHAG),  and the leading disabled Housing Charity (Habinteg) in the UK.  In March 2022, Wole retired from permanent roles to transition to N.E.D (Non-Executive Director) roles. He has since joined One YMCA in June 2022 in an interim capacity as Head of Finance. Outside of work, Wole is passionate about giving back to his community and has been instrumental in the development of the vibrant old schools’ network, NSF (UK), where members have raised thousands of pounds for school projects back in Africa. Wole is an alumnus of Igbobi College Yaba Old Boys Association (ICOBA EUROPE).

Titi Familusi (Sodade) - Director 

 "Passionate about the arts and loves music"

After a degree in Literature and a postgraduate in marketing, Titi has many years of experience working as a research analyst across sectors both within the private and public sectors. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Market Research Society. She currently works as a senior research manager with UK's communications regulator (Ofcom). Outside work, she enjoys contributing to the lives of young people and is involved in the mentoring scheme in the city of London. She is also involved in a local scheme feeding and watering the marginalised in society both physically and spiritually. Titi is also passionate about the arts and loves music. Titi is an alumna of St Anne’s School Ibadan Old Girls Association (SASOGA).

Dr. Remi Kayode

 "Passionate about giving back to her community and supporting the younger generation in achieving their potential."

Remi is a skillful professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Energy Management & Forecasting. An experienced Analyst and trainer with a demonstrated history of working in both the public and private sectors and a member of the International Institute of Forecasters. Remi has great interpersonal skills and is very passionate about giving back to her community and supporting the younger generation in achieving their potential. Remi was the first president of her alumni -Government College, Ikorodu Old Student’s Association (GCIOSA-UK), where she currently serves as the Project Director. She is also involved with the Young Women in IT (YWiIT)- an organisation dedicated to raising the level of young girls’ involvement and attainment in IT and the digital world.

Mr. Akin Coker

A Partner and Head of Private Clients at Buzzacott LLP, Mr Akin Coker is a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor, with over 30 years' experience providing expert tax advice on all
aspects of international tax planning and compliance. 

He made the prestigious private client's 50 Most Influential list in 2021 and in 2023, was recognised as a prominent professional within the UK and offshore private client practitioner sector.


Akin is a lay preacher and undertakes voluntary work as a mentor and counsellor for young people and adults. 

He enjoys squash, football and is an alumna of Igbobi College Yaba Old Boys Association.

Dr. Temi Ladenika

A Senior lecturer with a Doctorate in Education, Dr Temi Ladenika is an educational professional with circa 40 years' experience in educational leadership and engagement. A proprietor and headteacher of a non-association independent school, she is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

 

Dr Temi believes in making a difference to the quality of education and has done extensive work providing staff development opportunities for Nigerian schools.


Temi is a key pioneer alumna of Government College Agege.

Ms Henrietta Eruotor

Ms Henrietta Eruotor is a HR Consultant with multi sector experience in change and transformation roles across private and public sector organisations with an
emphasis on enabling organisational effectiveness through strategic and operational delivery.

​

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development
(UK), holds multiple degrees and a Postgraduate Diploma in UK Legal Practice. An alumna of Queen's College Lagos and Federal Government College, Warri. She is an avid tennis and formula 1 fan.

Nze Ed Emeka Keazor

Nze Ed Emeka Keazor is a lawyer, archivist, historian, and filmmaker focused on retelling African history. With over 100 publications and research papers with
critically acclaimed works, his documentary, January 15, 1970: Untold Memories of the Nigeria - Biafra War' was nominated for best documentary at AMAA 2020.

​

A member of the Board of Trustees of the Nigerian Legal History
Society, he is a Board Member of the Ukpabi Asika Knowledge Resource Centre), and Chair of the Board of Directors of Piql (West Africa) Limited.

​

He is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society; the Royal Society for the Arts; member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada.
