Job Description - Chief Operating Officer
Role Purpose
We are seeking a passionate and driven Chief Operating Officer to oversee our operations and take full responsibility for the organisation. Reporting to our Board of Directors, this is a challenging yet rewarding role that will be instrumental in helping us to achieve the continued growth of our organisation.
The Chief Operating Officer plays a key role at NSF (UK) in helping shape and delivers on the strategic mission/vision of the organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, The COO has primary responsibility for the organisation’s financial management, operations, staff performance, and goal setting. This role works closely with the Board and leadership team to execute strategies to fulfil the organization's mission.
Duties & Responsibilities

To assist with the safeguarding of the good name and values of the organisation.

To help establish and implement policies that promote the culture and vision of NSF(UK)

To be responsible for implementing and executing the Board of Directors’ strategies and playing a fundamental role in shaping the future of the Organisation.

To oversee the operations of the organisation and the work of the Operating teams. To Coordinate and manage key Heads of services, and teams across operations; Education , Community Engagement, and support functions including HR, finance, I.T, compliance and legal.

To build and maintain influential external relationships and strategic alliances.

To represent NSF (UK) at official engagements and functions.

To Chair Operating team and Members’ Monthly Meetings
Contract type:
Successful candidate will be appointed by the Board of Directors for a 3-year term.
Salary:
Voluntary, with reasonable expenses paid.
